When papers are received, authors with an E-mail address will receive a reference number.  This number can be used to check the current status of the manuscript.   Status change dates will appear as the journal staff uses this website and are not available for older manuscripts.

Step 1. Reference number begins with one of the following.  "J" indicates J. Thomas is the Editor and "K" indicates K. Dudzinski is the editor.

Step 2. Find manuscript reference number in the chart window and look for status and publication information.  Each manuscript is reviewed by two external reviewers and an Editor.  If there is disagreement between reviewers, the manuscript will be submitted to a third external reviewer.

Please note that "Pending" status time is based on the responses of external reviewers, not the editorial staff.

• "Out for review / Pending review" = Pending response by peer reviewer(s)
• "Minor" = Found acceptable with minor revisions
• "Major" = Found acceptable with major revisions
• "Reject" = Unacceptable, even with revisions
• "N/A" = Not available or not on record
